Ask the world a question. The community answers on camera.
The community side of what Maceo has been filming since 2021. Anyone with a camera and a real question can add to the archive — bounties put money on the question, someone takes it to the street, and the winning tape becomes part of the record.
Where this comes from.
Maceo has been documenting the global crypto movement on the ground since 2021. Nomadic founders. Engineers building the future of the internet. People of African descent working at the edge of economic systems being reimagined. Reserve currencies. Dedollarization. Money infrastructure as a public good.
Years of research, travel, and tape across the USA, Europe, Asia, and Africa. That archive is the seed.
Where it goes next.
#QueryTheWorld makes the archive participatory. We publish bounties for specific questions we want the world to answer. Anyone can claim a bounty, ship a piece from wherever they live, and get paid in crypto that does not stop at borders.
If the work meets the standards, it runs under your name. If it moves the record forward, it becomes part of the We Them Media catalog.
Post a bounty
A question worth answering. Attach money to it (crypto, transparent pot on poidh).
Claim it
Live where the story is. Turn on a camera. Ask the question in your own voice.
Ship it
Drop the piece in the Telegram. Winning submissions get paid from the pot and run on the We Them Media channel with your name on it.
Become the network
Strong submissions get a real conversation about joining as a paid regional contributor for We Them Media.
The first #QueryTheWorld campaign. $530 pot. Twenty-two backers. Eleven pieces shot in Philadelphia on Bitcoin Pizza Day 2026 by Maceo with Benny and Estaban (Temple University). Winner picked on stream. Details drop in the Telegram first.
Our Artizen Season 7 project. Web3 patronage funds the future campaigns of #QueryTheWorld: the next questions, the next contributors, the next cities on the map. Season-based, project-specific, paid in ETH.
Pieces coming from Marissa and Kafani. Contributors extending the archive from their own streets in Arkansas and Lagos.
Have a question worth answering? Contact us and we will help you scope a bounty, attach a pot, and route it through the network.
Money that does not stop at borders.
Traditional media cannot pay a contributor in Lagos or Nairobi with a Venmo. Crypto rails route money to anyone with a wallet, anywhere, without asking for permission. That is what makes cross-cultural street interviews financially possible.
Public pots. Public payouts.
Every bounty runs on poidh with the pot visible on-chain. Anyone can see who backed the question and what the contributor got paid. Funding is public by construction, not by promise.
Query the world.
This is one project inside We Them Media. The videos Maceo and the team drop are the other side. Both roll up under one idea: community-driven media, kept by the community it comes from.
